I recently saw this photoshopped photograph of Marilyn around tumblr, just today I saw one post of this picture with had over 14,000 notes with people talking about Marilyn and “her” breasts in the most disrespectful ways. This photograph is not real, the real one - which you can see here was taken by Sam Shaw in 1957. Although she posed nude on a few occasions for various photographers, Sam Shaw was not one of them. He photographed her and her then husband, Arthur Miller, in this particular session at their home in Roxbury, Connecticut. Please spread the word that this picture is fake!
I can’t even believe people actually believe these things, there’s another one of Marilyn putting Chanel No 5 on By Ed Feingersh like this too. So disrespectful.
How awfully disrespectful!
